Vocational School
Also in 2000, the vocational school was
inaugurated. It was donated by the Middletown
Rotary Club of Madison, Wisconsin. We teach
carpentry to the boys and sewing to the girls.
Glass shop
On April 2001, thanks to the generosity of James
Minson, a well known glass sculptor from
Seattle, Washington, a glass shop was started.
Mr. Minson, who donated all the equipment, comes
to Guatemala several times a year to teach and
work with the children. Children twelve and
older are learning the art of glass blowing.
