Primary School: In 1999, realizing the necessity of a good education for the children from the surrounding areas as well as those from the Home, plans were made for a school. In January 2000, the school, Sagrado Corazon (Sacred Heart), opened and classes began, thanks to the generosity of Mr. Ernesto Townson and his wife, a Guatemalan businessman, who donated the construction for an elementary school for 200 children. The school's marching band has won numerous awards and recognition in that past few years. We provide the children with a good education, as well as uniforms, and school supplies.
